Kelvin Gastelum Replaces Lawler fights Donald Cerrone at UFC 205

Well Donald Cerrone (31-7 MMA, 18-4 UFC) won't be getting the fight that he hoped for at UFC 205, but he will still be taking home a pretty big paycheck to fight Kelvin Gastelum (12-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) especially if he managed to wiggle ppv points into his new contract.

A UFC official has confirmed that both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout. The bout is to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City after the UFC campaigned relentlessly to bring the sport to the state.

Cerrone looks to continue on his crazy finish streak after losing in his championship bid to Rafael Dos Anjos last December at UFC on Fox : Dos Anjos vs Cerrone. While Gastelum looks to start a streak of his own after taking the decision win from a overwhelmed Johny Hendricks at UFC 200.

The current UFC 205 lineup is starting to come together pretty well so far :
  • Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy
  • Thiago Alves vs. Al Iaquinta
  • Marcos Rogerio de Lima vs. Gian Villante
  • Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum
