Julianna Pena : Former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey Is A Joke. Really?
With former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey came the inclusion of women's MMA into the UFC. Something that many fans and even Dana White himself did not believe whatever happened or become possible.
She was able to become one of the biggest stars with her being able to dominate her opponents so effectively that MMA fans of both genders started to believe that she could beat half of the UFC mens bantamweight fighters and possibly even boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
Her exit from the MMA world might not have been as glorious as one would like or the exit as an all time great like former UFC champs Georges St-Pierre or Khabib Nurmagomedov,
But would it not a black mark on the womens UFC divisions to diminish the accomplishments of former highly decorated champions in the spirit of trash talk, a comeback fight or fame? Or is there another aspect at play here?
Such as the current UFC womens' bantamweight champion Julianna Pena is actually who she says and believes she is and will be able to dominate her division to become the defacto example of what the womens UFC bantamweight division should look for in a champion? And when that is accomplished we will see that she was right all along (Again) and see that Ronda Rousey was a joke?
