UFC Fighter Sean Strickland : "I'm A Sore Loser! I Should Have Won That Fight."

Strickland (25-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) suffered a split decision defeat to Cannonier (16-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) in Saturday’s middleweight headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas leading him to his first 2 fight streak in his career, which should be a concern for any veteran fighter or out of the top 5 fighter in any division.

The UFC fighter Sean Strickland took to instagram to air his frustrations after the loss believing he did enough damage and landed more of the heavier and damaging shots to give himself the edge in the fight against Jared Cannonier.

Sean Strickland being a former UFC title contention fight formerly on a 6 fight win streak before running into the also up and coming UFC fighter, former Glory Kickboxing champion and rival of the former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, now more than likely has to go back to the drawing board.

But will that drawing board actually make him better to deal with high ranking fighters in his division or keep him as a top 5 gatekeeper for the near future?

That might lead to another question. One regarding the judges of the past few UFC fights this year that have drawn some credibility issues upon the MMA organization consider that Sean Strickland per stats might be right in his criticism of the judges.

But is it a question that we as fight fans really want to dive into wholeheartedly even though we all know we should? Would we all be ready for the answers that we are more than likely going to get across the spectrum of MMA judges and be ready to deal with and change along with the solutions that might be presented?

The fight between Strickland and Cannonier might not be the perfect example of judging gone awry in the UFC but it's definitely another glance at a problem that will have to be dealt with one way or another in the near future, if the UFC is going to continue to thrive as a legitimate organization.
