R.I.P : UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar Passes Away At the Age of 45

 



Former UFC fighter and UFC hall of famer Stephan Bonnar has passed away at the age of 45 on December 24th 2022 due to heart complications. The MMA world mourns with the family of the deceased fighter who is undeniably one of the most important aspects and faces in the foundation of the sport we all know and love today. 

"Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon," said UFC President Dana White. "His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him and he always gave them his best. He will be missed."

Bonnar being one half of the fight against former UFC champion Forrest Griffin at The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale produced enough fireworks and excitement to spark the interest of fans across the world and save the company that now stands as one of the leading sports organizations in the world in the case of the UFC.


With his many memorable appearances in the UFC taking on the likes of other legends in the form of Anderson Silva, Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz along with Griffin. He will be missed as the MMA world mourns his passing, but remember the impact on the sport we all know and love today as MMA on the world stage.
